“Since 2004, the Lord has been speaking clearly to me about a special 'remnant' of women: girls from all age groups bridging the gap from generation to generation like never before. These women are from all walks of life, backgrounds and denominations, but they are coming together, arm in arm, in a way the world has yet to see.
“In my experience inside and outside the church walls, there are daughters of the King who are searching for who they really are, why they were created, and whether or not they are truly valued and loved. I believe we are in a season of connecting with other Christian women, no longer tripped up by our past but pressing forward to finish the race together, and then reaching out to those who are paralyzed by the lies of the enemy and desperately looking for a Savior.
“Whether you are a part of a women's ministry or not, if you are a woman, we need your voice! God has placed you in this generation at this time for a reason and a purpose. As in the story of Esther, this is your time! Join us and many others in this journey and seek the face of a loving God to find out your true identity in Him and allow Him to use you to reach this world for Christ. We need you! It's time to step into your position.”
Cynda has been in ministry for over 20 years. She and her husband David have been married for 28 years and have four children and a daughter in law. They reside in New Port Richey where they serve full-time on staff at Calvary Chapel Worship Center as Worship Pastors and overseers for the Worship Arts ministries. They also direct the mentorship programs for worship musicians and worship leaders. Along with her other duties, Cynda also has a mentorship program for women and girls.
Cynda’s passion is to see women awaken to the gifts that the Lord has placed within them and encourage them to step into the calling of God on their lives. Cynda loves to speak to women’s groups whenever given the chance. She delivers her messages with charm and humor but gets right to the heart of women, deeply inspiring her audiences. Her words resonate with her listeners long after they are spoken.
Speaking Topics
"New birth"
Through the funny details of Cynda's pregnancies, Cynda explains how the spiritual and physical realms often parallel. She emphasizes that God has a "season" for developing the gifts/callings inside of us and reminds us to walk through the process joyfully and know that God's timing is perfect.
"It's Time to Dance"
During a personal time in Cynda's life, God spoke to her clearly that it was her "time to dance." Although Cynda is NOT a dancer by any means, she was compelled to step out on the dance floor of life and move in her God-given purpose and calling. She encourages others to begin dancing in their unique calling and the purpose for which God created them.
"Dig Deep"
Are you a gardener? Sometimes you have to dip deep in order to get to the root of the problem. The outward appearance doesn't always line up with the inside. Cynda encourages us to allow God to dig deep inside of us in order to clean out the weeds, expose root rot and grow healthily!
"Warrior Princess"
What battles are we to fight and what battles are the Lord's? How can we know our position in Christ and not allow the past to suffocate our testimony? How can we be used as a stepping stone for His glory and honor? We need to find our identity in Christ (not what other's think) to find our position. We also need to be willing to let go and let God reposition us from our place of comfort or complacency.
"Praise Him in the Storm"
Praise and worship have the best effect on us mentally, physically and spiritually when we're going through any of life's storms. There is always the 'other side' of the storm where we find our place next to Jesus, sleeping in the bottom of the boat while the storm rages outside.
"Coat of Many Colors"
Just as Joseph's father loved him and clothed him in a special coat, the Lord has made a special “coat” for each of us to wear. Cynda will speak about how to follow the sometimes whispering Holy Spirit (who shows us how to wear our coat), to use wisdom in discerning with whom to share what God has shown us, and to be satisfied with the coat God made for us and wear it well! She will also outline the process of this exciting journey.
